Apparently Tube staff are becoming more invisble according to a new London Travelwatch study. TFL refute these claims and basically call it bullshit. I’m inclined to put more belief in this study as these types of things (lack of staff) occur at my stations and are never really dealt with. I’ve witnessed times when there has only been 1 person on the gateline at Hyde Park Corner (which is a really busy station at times) and they haven’t been able to cope with all the issues customers were encountering. They’ll probably get rid of more ticket office staff soon though. Click on the imaginary staff for more on the matter.
